Subscription Solar allows you to buy electricity directly from a solar farm in our region without owning the panels.
Community Solar - also referred to as Community Distributed Generation (CDG) - can be a great option for renters or for those who are unable to purchase a solar system for other reasons.
Subscription models don't tend to have upfront costs, are usually short-term contracts, and are generally cheaper than utility rates, usually offering a 5% or 10% discount, sometimes higher. Subscription solar works for those who receive a bill from a major utility (e.g. PSEG) and do not have a demand charge on their bill.
