No. In general, windows, doors, and roofs are not covered under the incentive programs. However, in extreme cases they may be covered under the Weatherization Assistance Program.

Yes. All of the incentive programs work for renters. It is best if you have your landlord's support; otherwise only minimal work can be done (e.g. changing lightbulbs and installing faucet aerators).

Sometimes. The Weatherization Assistance Program services municipal electric customers. There are other incentives through the Independent Energy Efficiency Program (IEEP).

The IEEP was established in January 2001 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation consisting of municipal electric utility members in New York State. The IEEP provides resources for a broad range of qualified energy efficiency projects and services to its member systems.
